Aaksha Sajnani

I have been born and brought up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I have done my schooling from Delhi Public School, Ahmedabad. Further, I have graduated from Unitedworld School of Law, Gujarat University and Currently, I am the Legal Executive of KARNAVATI UNIVERSITY. During my five years of Integrated B.B.A LLB Program, I was introduced to many comprehensive as well as analytical areas of law such as Alternate Dispute Resolution, Taxation law, Law of Banking, and Negotiable Instruments. My keen interest in these subjects encouraged me to work hard and helped me understand and learn the intricacies of said subjects. At Law School, I have consistently maintained a position amongst the top 10 students of my batch. Learning these subjects have motivated me to pursue a career in Corporate/ Commercial Laws. According to me, the law is not merely a profession but a tool to serve my nation and give back to society. Overall, the past 5 years at Law School were life-changing for me. First, I keep a track of every minute thing that is happening around me. I try to keep myself as updated as I can with all the recent judgments and news. It makes me feel empowered and confident enough to stand up for my opinions and beliefs. Moreover, it has also taught me the importance and value of time management. Secondly, the experience that I have gained in these years provides a very strong base in my career. I have internship experience with ten different organizations under top law firms, well-reputed advocates, public and private sector companies, and legislative assembly. In 2019, I interned at the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi. It was a very good opportunity for me and I surely made the best out of it. I assisted in various cases pertaining to Consumer Law, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Property Law, Taxation Law. I also researched on various legal prepositions and assisted in several drafting. Apart from this, I regularly attended the proceedings before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
