Chitrangada Singh hails from the city of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. She completed her higher secondary school education from the most renowned institution in the town, St. Mary’s Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Jammu. Throughout her school days, she was known as an all-rounder due to her achievements in academics, co-curricular activities and sports. She credits her dynamic personality development to her school days, wherein she got the opportunity to fully explore, develop and utilise her skills. She has been a recipient of all-rounder in sports trophy, has played several intra and inter school kho-kho, handball and hockey matches as well as has played hockey at district level in the state. She was the leader of her squad at school parade for four consecutive years. She has participated in several debating, seminar and writing competitions. She also anchored and acted as a commentator at several sports and annual functions at school. She was also amongst the toppers in class XII CBSE board examinations in the year 2013. Thereafter, she was selected as a student of BLS. LLB. at the prestigious and the oldest legal institution in Asia, ‘Government Law College’, Mumbai. Throughout, her law school she actively participated in several intra and National Level Moot Court Competitions. Amongst her several accolades, she along with her team mates was awarded the award for Best Team as well as the Best Memorial at the 22nd MC Chagla Memorial National Moot Court Competition. Furthermore, she along with her team mates was also rewarded as Best Team in the 1st LJ School of Law, National Moot Court Competition at Ahmedabad. Furthermore, she graduated as a Bachelors in Law in the year 2018 and was enrolled as an advocate with the state Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in the same year. She was granted the Certificate of Practice by the Bar Council of India in the year 2019.
