Mushkan Verma

My name is Mushkan Verma pursuing my BA LLB from New Law College. Pune. My father is an engineer by profession and my mother is a housewife. I have an elder brother who is a software engineer by profession. I am in my second year and still trying to get around the online lectures system. I have studied my whole first year online and it has not been easy for me.

I live in Delhi and did a drop year for preparing for all the law papers. It was quite disappointing for me to not get into one of the NLU's but I know college doesn't make you, your own capabilities do. I have always been a shy girl, not speaking my heart out, but somehow law and being a lawyer excites me. I had a major interest in political science since the 8th standard and till now it still interests me. Research is something that every lawyer needs to know and is still a beginner in that field but I am learning.

This was my first article and to be honest, I didn't think it would be published and I am very honored for that. I hope I am able to write more and more articles in the future which get published. I am an introvert and I like to play various sports which include handball, netball, basketball, and kabaddi. I have been to various inter-school competitions for these sports and I still hope to do in my college life. I aspire to be a great lawyer in the future, being independent and living a great life.
