For me nothing but the heart matters. My name Hridya, serendipitously encapsulates what I am as a person. An unabashed romantic, living my life purely on my terms, and not letting the adversities define me. I am a third year law student at VIT Chennai, with a keen eye for creative arts especially painting and dancing. I can set the stage on fire both with my dancing skills and my paintings (that is what my admirers tell me and I tend to take only positive feedback…), an optimist to the core, I always see the glass half full and believe that the beauty of the world lives in your thoughts or as somebody said in the lenses you wear. It is all about how you would want to see the world. I live in Chennai with my parents. Did my schooling at ChinmayaVidyalya. My grand Mom, mom and father has had the biggest influence in my life. My pillar of strength, my hardest critic, my conscience keeper and my softest pillow has been my mother. It has been her tireless effort that has seen me through the thick and thin of life. Went through all the trials and tribulations of this generation namely CBSE, Math, Marks, Entrance exam, comparison with my friends & cousins (no prizes for guessing, they were obviously better than me in academics). After lot of deliberation finally zeroed in on law as I have always been interested in the fine print of life. Keen to pursue Corporate/Cyber law. My aim is to be the best in my profession.Since solving legal issues is no mean task (it calls for grit, determination and loads of guts) people generally tend to be ruthless in their approach. I on the other hand want to be all the above, but at the same time be kind and considerate to my clients and opponents. So in short, I want to be a compassionate professional. I was the cultural secretary and conducted a cultural fest ‘VIVARTH’. I had also exhibited my paintings in Lalitkalaakademi. Explore, experience and enliven is my motto. I love the unchartered, the unknown and the arcane. My dream is to
