I grew up an only child. The youngest of all my cousins and the only child in a small neighbourhood that consisted of a bunch of adults, I never really learned what it meant to just be a kid. And I certainly never learned how to relate to other children. Accustomed to being around primarily adults, I was always mature for my age. I have had a lot of people who invested in me, and I excelled at most of my many and varied hobbies. I did well in school, often knowing how to grasp complex ideas and techniques wholly. One of my absolute favourite hobbies is to debate and to read humongous books has transformed into my passion and the pursuance of the profession of Law. I graduated as a BBA.LLB student and have done my Honours in International Law I come from a long line of traditional and ethically strict family members. I have always seen the world as black or white, which has it’s own downfalls. However, personally for me, ethics and justice play an extremely important role and needs to prevail in the world over. It has been my dream to be a small part of the implementation of justice and fairness in the country and in the world. I also delve into the world of writing – poetry and prose. I write as a form of stressbuster. It is the best way I know who to express my thoughts and feelings. Writing is an extremely powerful and widespread tool that has the ability of inspiring people and provoking their thoughts towards a certain idea or point of view. I enjoy that with this combination of Law and writing. When imbibed and beautifully woven together, they can create waves of change in this world. In the future, I look forward to get into the judicial field where I may be able to effectively imply justice and fairness in people’s lives and give back to the society that has provided me with so many opportunities and so much inspiration throughout my life.
