Anhadinder Singh

My name is Anhadinder Singh, I’m a 4th Year Law Student currently studying in Amity University, Noida Uttar Pradesh. I was born on september17th 1997 (this is also the same day when our prime minister narendramodi was born) in Ch&igarh. I have 1 siblings, a mother who is a house wife & a father who is a business man . I have two dogs, a German Shepherd & an Indian Spitz (used to have 3, the third one, the Indian Spitz passed away on February 2019). I also have a very supporting gr&mother, an aunt & her family who is residing in the US. I had a great mentor who has helped me improve my academics. I did my schooling in yadavindra public school Mohali from 2003-2017 & gave my CLAT the same year.

I am a lover of video games. My favourite games are Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2, The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Str&ing, Star Wars Republic Comm&o, Star Wars The Forced Unleashed & Metal Gear Solid 5. People say that video games are a waste of time as it did not give any importance to the academics however I agree to disagree. I believe because of video games I was able to learn how to be focus, how to be frustrated, how to speak English, how to solve problems & vice versa. Video games were there with me when I was going through my worst times of my life alongside my family & close friends.

Although video game addiction is a bad habit it doesn’t mean it’s not good. Cartoons helped me to speak when I couldn’t speak & movies, anime, video games, tv series helped me speak in English when I struggled a lot learning it from text books, newspapers, novels. I have no interest in novels because I couldn’t create world through just staring at words all day. When my school ended in 2017, I got the game the The Last of Us. When I was playing it, the game gave me the nostalgic moment of my school days & also a realisation that my school really is over. It was the same year when I got the admission in Amity
