I am Aabir Shoaib. I was born in Dhanbad, Jharkhand and I did my primary and secondary
schooling from De Nobili School, CMRI up till standard 10th and went on to opt for commerce
from De Nobili School, FRI and it was during that time that I decided to opt for Law as my
career. I was always fascinated by the idea of working in the Indian Judiciary System and I
wanted to make a difference in the lives of people and this happened because I saw the elements
poverty and helplessness closely and always tried to understand them at a fundamental level and
the reason was staring at me the whole time. I knew that I
could not change these problems overnight but I did want to do something and the best way to
make sure that people have a helping hand was when someone came forward to advocate for
their rights. Someone who was brave and courageous to find solutions to problem which affect
the lowliest of the lowly.
Currently, I am a 3rd Year college student pursuing BBA+LL.B (Hons.), at Chandigarh
University. My hobbies are include listening to music and writing legal articles. I also happen to
be an avid reader of Crime Fiction novels and Shakespearean dramas which help to make my
command over the English language better.
My professional experiences include interning with
All India Human Rights Association as a legal intern and researcher where we were educated to
various issues of human rights and government policies, preparing detailed reports with analysis
of the same. I am a member of the Student Corporate Advisory Board Team and have interacted
with Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers and Chief Human Resources Officers of
Multinational Corporations such as British Telecoms, Amazon, Tata Consultancy
Group during their corporate visit to the university campus. I have also been
adjudged as the Best Debater on
a number of inter and intra-level debate competitions in college
