I have recently joined Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. I have done my graduation in English Literature in 2019. During the past few years, I have indulged greatly in editing, writing and researching. I also have an inclination towards reading and learning new concepts. Analyzing various scenarios and reading between the lines captures my interest.
I was born and brought up in Delhi. I completed my class 12th from Vivekananda School in 2016. After which I decided to pursue my interest in literature. Studying literature helped me broaden my mindset and also helped me form new and open-minded opinions about various subjects. Works of literature which showed the plight of women have majorly influenced me. I found the works of Mary Wollstonecraft , Virginia woolf , Jane Austen and many other such writers admirable .
I have been trying to research more into the laws and concepts related to feminism, gender equality and gender inclusivity. I want to work for the betterment of the women in society, ensuring they get justice. I am a supporter of feminism and LGBTQ+ community. I believe in everyone leading a peaceful life in a society where each one of us can co-exist in harmony, where there is no discrimination on the basis of gender, sex, color or sexuality. A place where people are more accommodating and supportive. Therefore, I want to work towards creating a similar place. I hope, in the upcoming years, I will be able to contribute more to the society.
