Archana Upadhyay

. I am from Aligarh Uttar Pradesh and I am the second child of my family and the only girl. My father is a businessman and my personal superhero, he is the perfect blend of perseverance and compassion; I am closest to my mother in the family, she is the most humble and spiritual lady and binds the families together with her unending love. My elder brother is my biggest support and the guiding angel and the younger brother seeks me as his role model. I studied from St. Fidelis Sr. Sec. School Aligarh and was a bright student, I always did well in my academics and was equally involved in the Co-curricular and the extracurricular activities. I developed the quality of an excellent oratory by the means of the platform provided by my school and secured 1st and 2nd positions in the inter-house extempore and debate competitions respectively which drew me towards the law and courts. I was a curious kid and science and innovation enthralled me, I even secured the second position in the interclass science competition. I am gifted by a beautiful voice and actively took part in the singing events of my school, and secured the third rank in the group singing competition held by my school. I have always believed that the way to sound mind is the sound body and the way to lead this went through sports, the games I played not only kept me physically fit and active but also helped me develop the qualities of compassion, helped me in being organised and stay focused and Punctual. It also developed the qualities of leadership and risk-bearing capacity, I can handle a lot of pressure and can stay calm and the responsibility and the decision-making capabilities are also due to my involvement in sports. I actively played and won 1st position in the inter-house tug of war competition, stood third in the shot put throw competition, 2nd in kho - kho competition and 1st in discuss throw competition. Overall I was an all-rounder child in school which eventually continued to the college.
