Crime is an illegal activity that has been there since ages. It cannot be removed from the society but can be prevented and reduced to an extent. Nitish Shrestha has spent his teenage and adolescence in a society where crime is emerging day by day and touching high peaks. Each society some-day or the other faces different crime related activities that affect the victim and the society as well. According to Nitish, crime does not only create an impact on the society, but also majorly impacts the victim leading to creation of abnormalities in the life of the victim and his or her family. Therefore, by helping these victims to overcome post crime traumas and encouraging them to attain their rights and certain relief through judicial process, he decided to pursue law for higher studies and is currently pursuing B.A. LLB at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University as a third year student. The attainment of rights and relief through judicial process cannot fulfil the loss occurred to the victim, but it can somewhat provide certain relief to him or her. By learning and getting the knowledge of the various laws during graduation, he started experiencing the different impact of crime on the economy as large or society as large. Therefore, he devoted his thoughts towards why crime actually occurs in a society. And soon, he got to know that there is no single approach that works for each individual. So, he decided to continue to educate himself on the emerging laws and criminal psychological trends to provide most comprehensive legal services to the victims of a crime. Currently as a law student, he has various certifications on emerging laws and a decent knowledge of law that encourages him to think as to how a country actually deals with the criminals around.
