An aspiring international lawyer whose dream is to work in the United Nations one day. Growing up as the only child of my parents I was always very close to my family members especially to my mother who has always been the biggest pillar of strength and support in my life and remains the same even to this day. My father is a central government employee and my mother is a teacher in a Birla school. I was born in Kolkata and I grew up in a small neighborhood with the adults —my parents and my grandfather. Kolkata is very close to my heart, I have spent most of my childhood in the old lanes of the city immersed in its marvelous architecture. I often used to imagine the grandeur and the magnificence of this city when it was the capital of British India. Kolkata has always been a city of rich culture and heritage; it is also the birth place of very eminent writers and poets. Recognized as an intellectual hub, there are many enthralling places in and around the city which used to be my regular hangout destinations during school days. I developed the interest of writing when I started reading books at a very early age. When I was young I enjoyed reading various books by Enid Blyton with Malory Towers being my favorite, even to this day. Everything felt so real as I read through the pages and lost myself in the life of Darrell Rivers, and her adventures at her new school named Malory Towers. I studied in a very prestigious and reputed school of Kolkata named Gokhale Memorial Girl’s School and went on to do my senior secondary from Birla Bharati School. My school life has been amazing and I made quite a few friends whom I cherish even to this day. School life was one of the best periods of my life as it gave memories to cherish for life. My interest in law developed at a very early age after reading about the life of a lawyer in various novels and books.
