Chunauti Gupta

I am a law student at the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. I completed my undergraduate studies with a major in philosophy and a minor in political science at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. I hail from Rajasthan. From as far back as I can remember the call to become a lawyer has been a constant in my life.

The intricacies of law have always captivated me. My journey into the legal world began during my senior school years when I developed a profound interest in Legal Studies. This interest led me to understand that legal illiteracy in India, as often attributed to the complex nature of our legal system, is exacerbated with its even more perplexing praxis and linguistics.

I am convinced that one of the ways to address this issue is by streamlining effective grassroots communication to make easier legal accessibility a two-way process. Throughout my undergraduate, I engaged myself in Throughout my undergraduate studies, I had the privilege of developing a diverse range of leadership and organizational skills through my involvement in various organizations.

One of my proudest achievement was establishing a non-profit initiative i.e. Girl UP Seher, which taught me the value of networking and community engagement. In my role as a senior coordinator in TEDxDRC, I was responsible for identifying and inviting speakers which helped me to develop strong communication and negotiation skills. As I navigate the corridors of legal education in the campus law centre, I aspire to become a corporate lawyer one day.
