I completed my first year of BA LLB hons from Presidency University,
School of Law. I am from Mumbai, but for my legal education, I moved out
to pursue my dream.
Leaving my city & settling into a completely different city was initially a
difficult phase for me. I was giving up what I had & was taking the risk, but
even in that fear of risk I had a firm determination that pushed my confidence.
Being away from family was not easy but this was the turning point of my life
which made me more independent, responsible, hardworking & now every morning
is a motivation to learn something new & challenge myself.
I believe that it does not matter which year of law school you belong to, if you
know what you want in your life, your hard work makes it happen.
I always had a determination & motivation that made my dreams come true no
matter how much time I had to invest.
Entering into law school completely changed my life. I met people from different
cities, & I got an opportunity to have a glimpse of their perspective which
helped me develop my writing & communication skills. I started taking part in
all the activities be it moot court, trial, debates, everything for me was not a
mere competition but my passion.
What is surprising yet motivating is that until a year back I had no idea that
being a lawyer would become so important to me.
Until May, 2019, I did not know my passion for law & here exactly one year
later I exactly know what I want in my life, my vision is clear & it motivates
me to do every little thing.
I still remember those days of my life, where I had completed my 12th grade
board examination & my eyes were set on the colleges of Delhi University with
no vision, but now when I think about my life an year back I am so glad about
the fact that my so called dream did not come as it gave me a better vision &
everyday motivation to explore.
