My name is Mohit Sharma. I am currently in my 4 th year of a five year, B.A. LLB. integrated program. I
am pursuing this program from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Pitampura, New Delhi.
Law as a profession came as surprise for me. Later on, I think I could not have gotten any better field
for myself.
I am very much fascinated that how the interpretation of language could provide justice
to some while denying it to others. I want to use that knowledge and interpretation to help the
society in any way through my work. As I firmly believe that a person is known not for his identity
but for his service.
My hobbies include playing football, reading novels and playing chess. My Interest subjects are
Criminal law, Constitutional law and Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code.
My strongest point is that I try to understand concepts or problems to its fundamentals which clears
the clutter around the subject and helps me understand the crux of the matter which makes it easy
to find clear and precise solution for it. My weakness is that I am not a good public speaker but
through sincere effort on regular basis. I have developed good articulation skills to back up my good
understanding skills.
I tried to keep my internships at different places at possible in order to understand not just the skills
required in the filed of law but also to understand different procedures been used in different courts
and tribunals.
I first worked under Youth India foundation where I used to edit and draft policies for the
organisation. Then I worked under TS Law Chambers where I used to observe the proceedings of The
High Court of Delhi and make brief notes of the writ petitions. Then I worked under Chambers of
Devashish Chauhan where I intensively worked on research based prepositions. The latest I worked
under the office of Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai where I used to do research work.
