I, Ena Shrivastava, am a third-year undergraduate student of law [B.A.
LL.B. (Hons.)] at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS),
Indore, India. My areas of interest in law include Family Law, Animal
Protection Rights, Criminal Law, Arbitration- ADR, and Civil Law, from which
Family Law, and Criminal Law interest me the most.
I am an analytical, solution-oriented, and a driven person who is also an
enthusiastic, social, and free-spirited individual with a very special
relationship with art and a blossoming eye for aesthetics. Highly skilled in
communication and creative skills like dancing, singing, creating art, drama,
and elocution.
I aspire to become a civil servant and want to work in the auspicious field of
Judiciary as I think that my core qualities of being culturally aware and
tolerant, courteous, conscientious, patient, punctual, just, impartial, fearless
of public clamour, regardless of public praise, indifferent to private,
political, or partisan influences, to deal with office as a public trust, having
a burning desire to mete out justice, confident, compassionate, empathetic, and
respectful for essential dignity for all, prudent- by doing things wisely and
objectively, ethical- by conforming to accepted standards of social and
professional behaviour, capacity to take decisions wisely and quickly, possess
superior communication skills by having the ability to conduct myself in a
dignified and judicious manner, and a sense of perspective and humour adds up to
the fact that I, as an aspirant, considering the above qualities, would be a
good fit for a Judge in the field of law.
The paramount thing is that, one of the key philosophies I have acquired being a
student of law is to "unlearn, learn and relearn".
