Soumya Ranjan Prakash, currently pursuing B.B.AL.L. B from Amity Law School, Amity University Ranchi. I have completed my matriculation and intermediate from M.G.M. Higher Secondary School, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. When I get some spare time, I like to read, sketch and write. I like being physically active, and spending a lot of time playing sports. When I was growing up I would watch cricket with my father and my brother but when I was in high school I discovered that I was keen towards basketball.
When I was in class 12th, I meet with an accident which changed my life a lot. I injured my ligament while saving a pup. I had to be in bed for almost 3 months which was quite depressing as I was not able to walk or go anywhere. I had a lot of friends who cheered me up but the most important lesson which I have learned was no matter what your family is always going to be there for you in all your happiness and sorrow.
I have never been a demanding teenager; small things make me happy. But I loved to celebrate my birthdays. I loved getting gifts from everyone and inviting everyone to my place. I loved the chaos and the crowd. Now as a grown-up I like peace, stability and harmony in my life.
I was born and brought up in Bokaro Steel City. It's a wonderful place with a good atmosphere and a very little population. But as we all know every place has its advantages and drawbacks, the drawback of this place is its conservative society. Growing up here showed me that many people don't have proper knowledge about the rights provided to them and their duties towards the country. So, writing about the rights of minorities will help them to know more.
