Shinjinee Namhata, 20, from Bankura district of West Bengal, is
currently pursuing her 2nd year of BBA-LLB programme at IFIM Law School,
Bengaluru, Karnataka.
From the very 1st first year of her law school, she has discovered her knack and
desire towards extensive research and legal writing. And here she is, having a
total of 20 publications within the very 2 years of her law school journey.
Shinjinee developed her interest mostly in constitutional law, various public
policy matters and administrative studies. Besides, she is very keen on learning
environmental law and international law. But, she hasn’t confined herself only
within these fields from the inception of her journey at law school and loves to
research study and on every contemporary matters and happenings round the world.
One can often see her writing research articles on contemporary areas of law.
She hopes that writing be a steady companion in her career. Moreover, she is
seen to be participating in extra-curricular activities very enthusiastically.
Shinjinee has interned with CRY NGO, International Journal of Advanced Legal
Research (IJALR) where her primary work was based on extensive research on
particular topics. She has also worked as an editorial board member at IJALR and
Centre for Legal Research Foreign and Public Policy (CLRFPP).
She has the motivation,aptitude, and desire to learn. With such capability and
spirit, Shinjinee tries to make best use of every opportunities she gets.
