Shilpa Sodhi

I am a law graduate holding a license to practice as a legal practitioner in Maharashtra and Goa Jurisdiction, India. I have experience of working as an independent lawyer as well as working as a legal Associate for a reputed law firm under a renowned Solicitor.

I’m currently pursuing Masters in Law specializing in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK. I am studying the law regimes and procuring in-depth knowledge of legal operations in the US and EU markets.

I have picked an interest in Competition Law, an interesting branch of law which apparently is less explored in Indian jurisdiction. My essay sheds some light on how it functions and operates in the EU and US markets respectively and how the undertakings operating in these jurisdictions have to be mindful of conformity with the legal requirements in their area of operations.
