I, Completed my degree in B.A.LLB from Ajeenkya D Y Patil school of law and graduated in the most unpredictable year that is 2021. As I am graduated now, I remember back in days being the first generation lawyer my father wasn't sure about me doing law. I took two years classes for the entrance exam that straight away would have ended me with an admission in engineering college. But I think destiny has already something else planned for me. I always had a thing for law, some sort of curiosity to learn, to know and then to implement. After being all prepared for the engineering entrance.
I decided to give CLAT 2016 having just one month in my hand. And yes I did not get admission in any of the 23 NLUs of India. But as they say failure teaches you more than success, in July I got admission in one of the private law school in Pune definitely not the one I planned for. I was disappointed but not surprised, I mean cracking CLAT without preparation in one month would have been a miracle.
As my college started things wasn't that bad for me.
I understood one thing, in my college life that law is not about the college you
get in , the place, the family or which generation lawyer you are, it is all
about you - your hard work, your dedication and your honesty toward the
profession. I won't deny the fact that one should always aim high but never lose
hope and try to give our best in any situation. Always keep working for the
better. I would end this with a quote that keeps me motivated - good things take time.
