A Kolkatan studying BBA LLB Hons. at the very esteemed KIIT University, School of Law, Bhubaneswar. I have spent my entire childhood and teenage in the laps of the beautiful and joyful city, Kolkata. I have always been a very cheerful, chirpy and extroverted person. I have always had keen interest in Bengali poetry which I have been learning since the age of three. It was through and because of poetry that I started talking, as a child. I still remember the the little me reciting a poem in front my recitation teacher, looking around, trying to collects the words one after the other but not giving up.

Yes, giving up on anything has never been a part of me since forever now. I love talking to people, trying out new things, making new friends and learning about everything possible because I believe that knowledge has no limits, its endless but life is. So, whatever little time you get, do not waste. Learn as much as possible. My father is a civil lawyer himself and also my biggest inspiration. He is my idol.

Ever since I was a child, my father was my best friends. I could never wait to get back home, keep my schoolbag at the corner of the room, run upto the landline set and dial his number up. Those few seconds of ringing until he picked up the call and in his sweetest voice called me out, “Maa eshe gecho?”, were the the most impatient one’s. I could not wait to pour my entire day’s story out to him. He would listen patiently, smiling.

Yes, even if I could not see his face, I knew he smiled. I was only six years old when I stepped into his office, holding his thumb, fort he very first time. The office, the infrastructure, the ambience and my father’s glittery, ambitious eyes while looking into new cases made me say for the very first time, “Baba, I also become a lawyer…like you.” He smiled at me, patted my back and said, “Obviously, you will.” That is how my journey towards this platform begun.
