My name is Amala Lawrence. My educational qualification is LLB LLM
and MSW. My specialization in LLM was Commercial Law. I have around 2 years
experience as a lawyer and i was involved in social works Settings in
developmental disabilities and palliative care. Both of these were my internship
topics as well in my MSW Programme, it provided me with a very valuable and
rewarding experience.
As a lawyer MSW programme has given me specialized insight into mental health,
poverty, homelessness and many more issues. Because of this my interests are
specifically in public interest law, family law and indigent defence. To this
end I have interned and worked with firms specializing in family law and
civil law.
