Junaid ul Islam PhD Scholar Law I have done Masters in International Law (which included IHL) & a Masters in Public Administration. I hold several substantial fellowships, credentials & certifications in the fields of human rights, international humanitarian law & youth engagement, youth development & capacity building. I'm presently working as Project implementation officer, Child Protection Services, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India I'm also a certified Master Trainer on Child Protection. I have always been a passionate defender of child rights & an avid advocate of child education since the early days of my higher education.

I'm also founder & patron of a non-profit organization HumanKind & I have been tirelessly working in the areas of child rights, child education- especially girl child education, youth engagement & capacity building, wildlife & environmental protection, disaster relief & responses & humanitarian action since 2009. My several contributions, as an individual & through HumanKind, have been awarded & appreciated several times by various Government, Non-Government & Private entities.

 I'm a keen organizer & an equally enthusiastic participant & I have been a resourceful contributor in several state & national-level workshops, seminars & conferences on the themes of human rights, child rights, child education, social justice & change & youth development. My notable published works include widely acclaimed book on the Juvenile Justice Law in Jammu & Kashmir. I have also compiled guidelines for Special Juvenile Police Units, Child Welfare Committees & Child Friendly Police Stations under Juvenile Justice Act & Rules. Recently I have also published my e book A Quick Guide on COVID 19 & Child Protection Responses (All you need to know) which has been widely acclaimed.
