I was born and brought up in Patna, Bihar and I am the only child of my parents. I have completed my schooling from St. Joseph’s Convent High School, Patna and my B.A LLB.(Hons.) from Chanakya National Law University. I had interest in painting as an infant which later faded out and I had even joined a painting class to pursue my hobby. However, I could not continue it for long as I got involved in my studies during my school life. I had also interest in writing and loved English Literature subject while in school. I also used to participate in skits during my school days which were organized in school on different occasions. Being born in a lawyers’ family, I was encouraged to take law as my subject at the time of graduation since I grew up in a family where my father was in the same profession. After my schooling I took admission in a law university which was in the same city where I lived. I completed my graduation in 2016. After receiving my education, I started applying for jobs as I did not want to pursue my post graduation immediately and wanted to first work and gain some experience. Also, I was not very much interested in joining the teaching fraternity which is the only option after post graduation in law. I was fortunate to immediately get through an opening in a reputed insurance company. I worked for two years in an insurance industry where I had to deal with life insurance cases. It was a nice exposure of me and I liked my work a lot since I found insurance interesting. My work included analyzing all the cases, giving legal opinion in the cases and drafting of case facts, replies and petitions to be filed before the various forums. During that period, I also got an opportunity to participate in a seminar held by our Company which provided a common platform to the lawyers and investigators to discuss all the hardships and difficulties faced at the time of procuring evidence in the cases. It was a big platform that provided an opportunity to me.
