I am Shivam Singh from Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur
Madhya Pradesh. Though I originally belong to Uttar Pradesh but presently I
am resident in Jabalpur. I completed my schooling from presidium school,
Indirapsuram with 97 percent. I started my journey into legal field when I
cracked CLAT examination in 2022 just after my 12 th examination and got into
an NLU.
I was passionate and had interest about studying Law because of my
keen interest as well as aptitude which I had for the field to understand legal
dimensions. Currently I have not studied major laws like IPC, CRPC but other
laws such as Contract and Constitutional law and have started interpreting these
laws and their application in real life. Diligence , critical thinking and attention
to detail are qualities I embody as I strive to excel in my academic pursuits.
I
am driven by a strong desire to advocate for fairness, equality and the protection
of individual rights. I am highly motivated to excel in the field which I have
chosen for my self because being first generation lawyer it is not an easy task to
beat already established heads. Apart from Academic field I have interest in
other Co-Curriculum activities such as Cricket, I am obsessed with cricket,
being born in Country where Cricket is not considered as a sport rather
emotions are attached with it . thus similarly I am also attached to the sport.
Also I regularly take part in other co curriculum activities such as Debates,
Moot Court Competition and have also taken part in ADR competitions. Thus
leading to holistic growth in field. Whatever work I do is with full motivation
and dedication. And will continue this motivation in future also. Ultimately I am
to contribute to a fair and equitable society through law.
