Dr. Saroja Huggi.Professor Political Science and head of the Department of Humanities, at Krupanidhi Degree College, is much interested in professional development.She earned her BA degree from the Prestigious Karnatak University, Dharwad, Karnataka, india and continued to pursue her post-graduation, and doctoral studies from the same university.
She earned her doctorate in the year 2004 for research in Case Study of Freedom Fighter titled, “ Hosamani Siddappa ; A Case Study of His Contribution to Indian Nationalism”. She is highly motivated, dedicated, resourceful and goal driven with commitment to the academic and social development of the students.
She has written Study Material for U.G. and P.G. for External Political Science Course for
Karnatak University, Dharwad. Presently Writing Book on:
- Major Constitutions of the World
- Core Concepts of Political Science and
- Western and Eastern Political Thought
Best Paper Presenter award received from Symbiosis University, Hyderabad for presenting Original Research Paper on Uniform Civil Code. She has guided Ph.D. and M.Phil. students and researchers for Mini Projects. She organized many National and State level seminars on different subjects.
Member of IIPA, Delhi and Political Science Teachers’ Association Karnatak University as well. Participated in many national and state level seminars and conferences, presented Research Papers And also participated in workshops.
Completed the Refresher Course conducted by Academic Staff College, J N U Delhi.
At present working as professor Political Science and also Head of the Department of Humanities. Having years of experience in the education field Prof. Saroja has been still striving to inculcate in her students values and qualities like self-dependence and stand different in the bandwagon.
