The motive for the offense is discernible from the facts of the case and, for that matter, from the disclosure made by the appellants regarding their visits in search of V, whom they believed was involved in the murder of the appellants' son.

The plea is based on res gestae and perceived omission to bring to the appellants' notice the fact of identification of the dead body. In the face of consistent, cogent, and coherent evidence on record, it does not command an appearance.

The statement of PW-2, that he came to know about the abduction after 4/5 days, cannot by any means be one of the transactions encompassing the incident to attract the doctrine of res gestae.
