Increase In Prenatal Death Rates In India

Increase in Prenatal death rates.

Every child deserves a fair chance to life, Right to life being one of the Fundamental rights enshrined in the Indian constitution, how come these children become the exception to the same when it comes to the medical facilities, and our country being one of the those who promotes 'medical tourism'

The country which is so progressive regarding the medical facilities facing the problem of pre natal deaths speaks a lot about the not so very uniform development.

The main issue is not the low level of advancement in technology, the main reason is the funds.

By this, it is not tried to convey that the country lacks resources. There are ample amount of funds for the medical field in the nation and the same is allotted as well.

However, after the allocation of funds driving forces like corruption etc does not ensure the proper usage of these allotted funds.

Given that the country is still a developing nation with a thriving economy with young and sharp minds making the youth population and the future, this doesn't change the fact that most of the population of our nation still cant afford the sensitive care required for premature births.

These basic facilities are somewhere out of the reach of the normal population and also the awareness as many people in rural areas still do not even prefer hospitals for childbirth.

It is for a fact that this social economic gap might take some time to be equalised but these facilities of incubators and other healthcare facilities for the same problem shall not be treated as some high end luxury but a basic necessity for all because then it, it is a right - Right to life.
