Understanding the Definition of Rape

Rape the word is legally defined in simple sentence A Man forcing sexual intercourse on a woman otherwise compiling or manipulating a woman to have a sexual intercourse however the word is socially defined as A person denying sexual advancement of another person as in saying NO but the social definition collides with the legal definition because a woman can rape a man compiling him or forcing him to have the intercourse.

However, this not about the definition of rape this is about, are the victims of rape are actually able acquire the justice they right full deserve? And what is justice for them, a judgment pronounced by a judge? the punishment given to the guilty? What is true justice to the victim of rape when the justice itself is prolonged for about 5 to 10 years in our country we have established fast track courts that pronounce their judgement in 2+ years accounting the delays.

But can the victim go back to the life they once belonged to? With their identity stolen and telecasted across the country as in see this poor soul has got brutally raped but this person and for what? to gain more views? for TRP? for money? is it not brutal then rape itself? people talking about her loss society labelling them as unworthy of marriage unworthy of education among the same friends who once laughed with them having their character always under question is this not true? One single person will say no this not the case, words are inconsequential to society.

But the true justice must always be silent it’s come darkness luminating the lies. It does not have to be shift but it must be silent the reason justice must be silent because it is driven by truth and truth is a relative to facts and society has a incurable illness of mustering the facts to suit their say for their own two-minute talk.

We cannot blame the media because in the end they are once who bring out the truth yet how can they? it is binding on the media to protect the truth and not spread more rumours about it. One brutal case is at it’s peak in a particular state what is the faith of many in the same chronology the enforcement is blinded by the politicians to sought out only one case quickly because of a social unrest in the state as the cause of it and while the enforcement completes one case 20 to 50 new raped case get registered and files are buried.

In final the society must let the enforcement do its duty, the judiciary should ensure to deliver true justice, and the people’s representatives must make sure duty is done and justice is delivered and the media has to compile the representatives to do the Right thing.
